Anthony Pellico grew up with a passion for music. This passion was discovered at an early age, when Anthony was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. As result of his diagnosis, he was blessed with a unique musical gift. Once Anthony discovered his bliss, his motivation to play music grew exponentially. He was determined to learn any musical instrument he could get his hands on, and it didn't take long for him to become a well balanced musician. Music became his life, as he learned how to play the guitar, bass, drums and keyboard when he was 11. As early as elementary school, Anthony was entering and winning rock music competitions and talent shows. He starting writing songs by age 12 and was playing in bands as a teenager with his childhood friend Peter McCoid.
He recorded and toured with his band, Andromeda Sun, during his senior year of high school and first year of college, as a drummer and vocalist. Their album “Introspective Soul” was released in the spring of 2016, and contained the song “Endless Sky”, an original song Anthony wrote and sang lead vocals on. “Endless Sky” is influenced by The Beatles, CSNY & Elton John, the topic of space travel and Star Wars. Anthony also played drums and bass on Peter McCoid’s 2016 album, “Northwest Mind”, and helped contribute to the album’s songwriting.
Anthony has played many musical venues on the West Coast and his music has been featured on several Portland, Oregon radio stations, including KINK and KBOO. Anthony is currently attending college at The University of Oregon, pursuing his second passion of filmmaking, while also playing music at many local venues. He has played recently at Sam Bond’s Brewing, Cornucopia Bar & Burgers and Whirled Pies Pizza. Some of Anthony's biggest musical influences included The Beatles, Neil Young, Crosby Still Nash & Young, The Grateful Dead, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
